Changes at the Library

ph-library-kid-150The Fairfax County Public Library will reduce its hours, increase fines and establish new fees as a result of a county decrease in revenues and a 15 percent cut to the library’s fiscal year (FY) 2010 budget. Changes will take effect July 1, 2009. Fines and new fees have been established, some of which include: Daily fine for overdue materials is 30 cents; $1 will be assessed to customers who check out materials without a library card; A $2 Guest Pass will be required to use public computers without a library card.
