New Laws: Don’t Drive and Text :(

ph-texting-200Beginning July 1 it becomes illegal to “text” while you drive in the Commonwealth of Virginia. This new law joins many others we detail in this article. While “texting” has become a big hit with young folks, it has also become a major distraction for drivers. It is particularly interesting to note that studies reveal 58% of drivers under the age of 20 acknowledge texting while driving. With this law Virginia joins eleven other states and the District of Columbia in banning texting while driving.
