Polluted Pregnancy & Baby’s IQ

pollution-fam-100A recent study reveals how air pollution around pregnant women might impact the IQ of their babies. This is a recent study reported in the August edition of the journal Pediatrics. In the study pregnant women were monitored for the quality of air where they lived and worked. Their offspring were monitored and, at the age of 5, their IQ was tested before they started attending school. Of those tested the children exposed to the most pollution before birth scored lower than kids with less exposure. Click this to see additional details about the study at WUSA9.com.
